I finally did it! I joined the Tiktok train and I've been stuck ever since. Coming from a foodie, I have reposted, bookmarked, liked and saved every food recipe that I have seen and liked and instantly forgot about them right after. But this is the one hack, I couldn't stop thinking about. After seeing it everywhere, I finally decided to try Whipped Coffee for myself.

I'm not really a coffee person. I only drink it occasionally ever since that time I was rushed to the hospital for drinking 3 cups in a row and feeling like I was going to faint from stomach pains. Dramatic, I know, also why did I have to drink 3 cups.

I always thought the energizing effect of coffee was a brain thing until I drank a whole cup before class and literally couldn't stop moving. So as you can see, coffee and I have a wierd relationship. Ever since my first sip as a child and becoming obsessed with it, to almost hating it as it nearly killed me, being dramatic again, I know. But anyways, lets make some Whipped Coffee.

Ingredients (1 serving)

1. 2 tablespoons of instant coffee powder

2. 2 tablespoons of sugar

3. 2 tablespoons of hot water

4. Ice for serving

5. Milk for serving (I chose Almond Milk)

Preparation

1. Add your coffee, sugar and hot water to a bowl

2. Whisk until the mixture is a light brown color and "fluffy and light"

3. Add ice to your cup

4. Add milk

5. Add your coffee mixture on top

6. Mix together and Enjoy!

Thoughts. Taste. Tips.

It was very simple, quick and easy to make. It was also a little fun. Aside from the arm pain from whisking the mixture for 8+ minutes. It was fun to make something new. Now for biggest mystery; what did it taste like? Well, it tastes like... coffee! Exactly like coffee. As I took my first sip, I thought to myself, "Did I do all of this for coffee to taste like coffee?" Yes I did. I thought I was getting some type of new and exquisite taste but nope just coffee. The taste was also very bitter. Also, if you're not a fan of froth, like me, don't let it sit or it will create just that on top of the drink. But maybe it was me and I did it wrong. Let me know!

Will I try it again? No. But for those who want to try it here are some tips:

1. Taste the mixture before pouring it into the milk. It'll let you know if you need more sugar.

2. I used instant coffee packets, I'm not sure if it matters but do research to see which coffee is best.

Up next, Carrot Bacon.

Wherever you are, goodmorning, good afternoon, good evening, and have a good night!

I'll be back to talk "S" word with you all later!
